Description

Spectacular 420m² country house with stables located near Mecina Bombaron.

 

Access to the impressive house is via a short concrete track, in excellent condition. The property is located in a beautiful valley, surrounded by chestnut trees and close to an ancient roman bridge over the river.

 

The lower level of the building comprises five large purpose built stables, a small storeroom and an area for walking and grooming the horses. To the side of the house is also an area for the horses to graze. A covered terrace runs the full length of the house. Outside, to the front of the stables is a lovely brick built seating area with water feature with potable water direct from the Siera Nevada of which was built by the owners.

 

A short path leads behind to the upper level of the house. This opens to various paved terraces at different levels with a large brick built barbeque. An outside storeroom houses the solar batteries and control equipment which are in perfect working order. There is an automatic backup diesel generator should it be needed. The unit switches on automatically and charges the batteries if there are several days with cloud and little light. There is an extended tank of 20 litres of diesel.

 

There are two main entrances to the back of the house, the smaller one leads to a corridor with two larger than average double bedrooms, one has free standing wood burner also in this area is a large bathroom with shower. This area can be used as rental accommodation if required. There are doors leading to the large terrace at the front of the house.

 

The larger entrance leads to a hall, it then opens up into a huge open plan living room with large fireplace fitted with a wood burner, a dining area and a fitted kitchen with a central island. Two sets of double doors lead to the terrace that runs the length of the house. All of which has a real rustic charm to it. There are two large double bedrooms, one with fitted wardrobes and a huge tiled bathroom with bathtub. The wooden doors and windows are very traditional, there are some really lovely features in this property.

 

The house has mains water connected, the heating and hot water system in the house is gas-fired. There is as in most villages a gas delivery service once a week for your convenience. There are radiators in most of the rooms making it very comfortable. The log burner is sufficient to heat the main living area.

 

The property is set in 2,300 m² of typical natural land. The property can have wifi installed, you will find most services that you require in Cadiar which is around a 20 minutes drive.
