Traditional construction laid out around its central patio. Andalucian-style manor house dating from 1880, located in the geographic center of Andalucia, specifically in Osuna, a town cataloged as a Historic-Artistic Complex in 1967 in an unbeatable enclave in the heart of the Sierra Sur de Sevilla.
The house sits on two floors, with a total plot area of approximately 1,239m2 and 1,139m2 built. The main access to the house is through a wooden gate with a gold lower plate. The marble and pebbled hallway communicates with the entrance to the property through a wooden door, with gold details.
The ground floor consists of: two living rooms and two kitchens (for winter and summer), living room, five large bedrooms, two bathrooms, office, pantry, large main Andalusian-style patio located in the center of the house with central well and ceramics, paved patio with lemon trees and other trees, corral with an old wood oven and horse stable among other rooms, parking space for two vehicles.
The ground floor requires superficial renovation and has been well-preserved, with the last major reform being during the mid-twentieth century, that preserved much of its charm. The property has conserved it's original carpentry, and if any reform were needed it would be small and aesthetic.
In contrast, the presence of a number of arcoprops in the upper floor area lead us to believe that the roof will most probably need replacing, in the case that one desired to inhabit the upper floor too. At present, only the ground floor has ever been inhabited as it is a very big house and the current owners do not require more living space beyond the ground floor area. The upper floor was previously used for animal feed and storage. It is totally open plan and restoration would entail flooring, partitions, electricity, water, etc. The owners have assured us that there is no problem with the structure, meaning that they have secured the upper floor structure so that one could comfortably live in the ground floor without having to inhabit and renovate the upper floor.
The price is somewhat negotiable. The furniture, much of it antique, is to be negotiated alongside the sale of the house and the price of the sale would determine whether any furniture was included in the sale price.
All mains services are connected. Broadband internet is available.
The property is located in Osuna, 200m from the centre, 90 km from Seville, 90 km from Cordoba and 120 km from Malaga. It has excellent communication with the A-92 highway and on the other hand, within the town, it is located just 200 m from the historic center.
Floor plans of the property available on request.
